This app starts off well, then it’s downhill all the way, it keeps bugging out and takes 2 + hours to do 30 mins, I have dropped down to 10 mins and have spent an hour & it’s not recognising that I have done anything. I can do a voice recording and it recognises it the 1st time but doesn’t recognise the 2nd time it asks, it constantly says it can’t hear me. It has been a total waste of money & I am really frustrated and furious with this product

I think your review here is spot on! I have enjoyed using FluentU and the fun & interesting video content, which helps a learner follow what people are saying at the normal pace that they speak & as they will hear things when visiting the target country, not slowed down, as people will do when they’re teaching a language.

However I wasn’t using FluentU as much as I did in the beginning, so I when I was automatically charged an annual renew fee yesterday, I decided to stop my paid subscription. I’m happy to report that they responded quickly and refunded the charge that had just gone through their system. This is such a welcome change from other companies! I was impressed with them responding in such a professional manner. I am much more likely to start up my subscription again the next time I’m getting ready to travel and want to get used to hearing the language & maybe pick up a few words & phrases. The note that they sent from customer service was signed “FluentU Customer Happiness Team,” a title which they have earned in my eyes!
